Our mission and vision

Kathryn 06.jpg

Mission

We empower adults to improve theirs and their children’s mental wellbeing so they can be resilient, emotionally intelligent, problem solving individuals who flourish.

Vision

Our vision is of a future where every parent, carer, educator, employer and child are trained or supported in the resilience tools needed to thrive in this volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous (VUCA) world. By providing our children and those who nurture them with such tools, we create a current and future society able to thrive no matter what stresses, pressures or crisis situations are thrown their way.

Our values - at the heart of all we do

Healing hearts

Sometimes life can break our will to keep facing the challenges. We help you create a linear narrative between past and present, so you can once again have the heart (and tools) to face future challenges with new vigor.

Repairing relationships

We encourage participants to build their self awareness of how their actions, behaviours and thoughts impact the relationships in their life. We provide tools to make sense of their thought patterns, empowering them to do the hard work to help repair any ruptures in relationships.

Empowering minds

We believe in providing scientific insight along with tools backed by that science. We match this with building an individual's self and bodily awareness, so this collective knowledge can empower minds to break generational patterns and make new choices in line with future goals.

Thriving individuals

The collective building of knowledge around self, science and tools serves individuals to reach their optimal performance or to empower them to become a child's emotional coach. Allowing both adults and children to be resilient, emotionally intelligent, problem solving skills individuals who flourish.

My journey to this work

Kathryn 36.jpg

I’m a working mum; I know the struggles, challenges and life changing transitions parents, carers and those who nurture children have to make. I know how drastically it can affect an adult's mental well-being, confidence and contentment.

I know because my experience of transitioning to being a parent was a difficult one. There were so many unrealistic expectations placed on me by myself and others, that after pushing through severe sleep deprivation, the constant stresses and pressures, I finally burnt out two years after my return to work.

I also know that this experience of burnout is not limited to parents and many of the sectors I've worked across (charity, public and education) are also seeing staff experience similar impacts.

As a result of my own burnout, I became fascinated by how people can overcome adversity. You see, I wanted to know how I could help myself and in turn others to build resilience, effectively manage stress, become mentally tough to deal with life’s curve balls. Ultimately, I wanted to support and empower both myself and others to find their best life; a content life.

So I spent years researching and educating myself in the best tools, techniques, measures and training styles so I knew my work would deliver a positive impact on those whom I was seeking to help.

My work now supports parents, carers, educators and all those nurturing children, empowering them with tools to improve both theirs and their children’s mental wellbeing.

I'm a specialist in Parent Coaching, Optimal Performance and Mental Toughness. I train and coach parents, carers, educators, charities and local authorities via my work which is grounded in science across child development, attachment science, nervous system and brain science, non-violent communication, psychology, sociology, neuroscience and mindfulness.

I've over a decade experience in coaching, developing, training and leading others; it's my absolute joy to see people flourish. My programmes not only help parents, carers and families, they aim to empower an organisation's staff, children in their care and the families they support.

I’m huge on empathy, building strong relationships and supporting the continuous development of others. I care deeply about well-being and enabling people to lead their best lives.

I’ve almost 2 decades experience across the charitable, public and education sectors, where whatever new challenge I’ve been set, I’ve always achieved or exceeded goals by working collaboratively and creatively with others.

If you're ready to make a change in your life or your organisation. If you're ready to go on a journey of self reflection and step out of your comfort zone to improve well-being, resilience and optimal performance, if you're ready to improve your relationships with your child(ren) and family, I would love to work with you. Make the change today, get a discovery call booked in with me.

We’re parents ourselves and we get it! Parenting is tough and we don’t always know the best way to help our children to flourish. Whether it’s dealing with meltdowns, holding boundaries, connecting with your kids, sibling rivalry, not listening or just being triggered by your child’s behaviour, we can help you become your child’s emotional coach so they (and you) can thrive!

We work with children, family, care and education charities, as well as a range of LA departments such as education to social care, fostering to children’s centres. The work we do is focused on helping your workers, parents, children and families thrive. Helping them break generational patterns that haven’t served families well, so a positive pattern can be created for future generations.
